Dr. Yang Faridah Abdul Aziz is a Professor and Consultant Radiologist, currently serving as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. She received her training at Universiti Malaya, followed by a stint in cardiac imaging in the United States. She has a strong commitment to educational innovation, including obtaining a Masters in Medical Education and international fellowships in higher education leadership. She spearheads the cardiac imaging services at Universiti Malaya Medical and Specialists Centres, and drives collaborative research across institutional and global networks in areas of imaging and medical education. Her leadership journey includes serving as Deputy Dean from 2015–2021, during which she navigated digital transformation in medical education during the pandemic and remains a catalyst for pedagogical excellence. She has held numerous national and international appointments, including membership in the Malaysian Medical Council, College of Radiology and the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology. She currently heads global organisations such as ASEAN Medical School Network (AMSN) and Alliance of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI).
